Jadagam Street,
Hyderabad.
Dt. xx.xx.xxxx

Dear Seshu,
I’m very glad to receive your letter. We’re all fine and hope the same with all of you there.
Have you seen in the papers how smugglers are cutting down the trees and selling them ? It’s not only the ordinary timber they are selling but also the costly red sandal wood trees. They’ re becoming very rich. I think the government has been trying to check it. But I think it’s not enough.
So we formed a small group and started a campaign. We took some place with the writing. “Save trees and Save ourselves”. We started from Ravindra Bharati upto Uppal Stadium in a rally. I feel that the government would notice our efforts and take necessary action in this regard. O.K. please be in touch with me.

Dt. xx.xx.xxxx.

Dear Sekhar,
How are you? I’m quite fine here and hope the same with you all there.
Sekhar, recently I heard and also saw in papers that hunters and others are killing the animals and selling them. They are not leaving even the snakes. Their skin is used for purses, slippers etc. I really feel sorry. If such a thing continues what happens to them ? We don’t find them anymore.
So some of my friends gathered together and formed a small group. We prepared slogans and went on a procession shouting the slogan’s “Save animals, let them not be extinct” . There was a good response to us. Some passers by also joined our group.
Such is the situation, friend. Alright I close the letter for the present.

Yours Sincerely,

Diary

Date : xx.xx.xxxx
Dear Diary
Last week our school made a trip to zoo park in Hyderabad. We went to Hyderabad by train and by the time we reached the Zoo, it was $8 o^{\prime}$ clock in the morning. We bought tickets and were about to enter. The gate-keeper stopped a boy who was carrying a plastic bottle because such bottles are not allowed.

Then, we went in. It was not possible for us to see the whole zoo on foot. So we went on a vehicle arranged for the visit. We saw birds and animals. Especially the actions of the monkeys made us laugh. It took nearly four hours for us to complete the visit.
We returned home by the night train.
