1. I observed that outlets are there on both sides of the tank.
2. Water flowing from those outlets is set into small canals across the field.
3. Each farmer dig a small hole to his field from the small canals.
4. After filling his field he close the hole to stop the water.

Brahmayya Lingain Cheruvu:

Brahamayya Lingam cheruvu is located in chikkavaram village in krishna district. This is spread across 1,000 acres and is said to be constructed by “Chola” kings . It is capable of providing drinking and irrigation water to almost 6 viilages. The lake is filled with rain water.Now itis planned to filled with water through Polavaram canal. AP government is planning to develop this as a tourist spot.

Answer:
To stop pollution of water in tanks:

  1. By removing Gurrapudekka and algae grow in the tank regularly
  2. We will not take bath, wash clothes or vehicles in tank.
