MONKEY’S NEAT TRICK
Show the following pictures and encourage the students to frame the story.
Answer:
Once there lived a fox. One day, he caught a Cock. He kept it in a bag. He wanted to take it home and give it to his wife.
On the way, the fox showed the cock to a monkey. He told the monkey, “I’ll give it to my wife. She will cook it for me”. The fox went to drink some water.
In the mean time, the monkey took pity on the cock. He took it out from the bag and let it go. He kept a big stone in the bag. He gave the bag to the fox on his return.
The fox took the bag to his wife. The wife kept pot onfire and was boiling water. The fox thought that the cock was still there in the bag. He opened the month of the bag and dropped it in the pot the stone fell in the boiling water. The hot water spilt on the foxes.
