ఒక దీర్ఘచతురస్రాకారపు పొలము పొడవు, వెడల్పులు వరుసగా 60 మీ., 40 మీ. సోమయ్య ఒకసారి తన పొలము చుట్టూ తిరిగి వస్తే ఎంత దూరం నడిచినట్లు ?

జవాబు:
దీర్ఘచతురస్రాకారపు పొలము పొడవు = 60మీ.
దీర్ఘచతురస్రాకారపు పొలము వెడల్పు = 40మీ.
సోమయ్య పొలం చుట్టూ తిరిగి వచ్చిన దూరము
= 2(l + b)
= 2 (పొడము + వెడల్పు)
= 2(60 + 40)
= 2 × 100

సోములు ఇంటి స్థలం చతురస్రాకారంలో ఉంటుంది. దాని చుట్టూ అతను ప్రహారీ గోడ నిర్మించాలి అనుకున్నాడు. అయితే ప్రహారీ గోడ పొడవు ఎంత ?
