Mongolia was ruled over by several Nomads during the ancient times. Chengiz Khan united the Mongols and established the Mongol Empire in the year 1206 C.E. During the rule of Delhi Sultans, Mangols conducted several invasions into India from 1221 to 1368 C.E.

1398 A.D. – Timur invaded India and captured Delhi during the Tuglakan rule. It was a barbarous attack. Total country was plundered in the grip of terror Many constructions were destroyed. He plundered the wealth from India. It took nearly a century to reshape Delhi. These paved a way to Babur’s invasion on India and establishment of Mughal rule.

Chihalgani :
The administrative support system initiative by Iltutmish with the help of Turkish nobles. This was known as Turkan-I-Chahalagani or Chalisa. This helped to supress his opponent nobles.
