THE BOASTFUL BALL
Show the following pictures and encourage the students to frame the story.
Answer:
Once there was a ball. It was very boastful. It had high openion of itself. One day it was going to the playfield. On the way it saw a trunk of a tree.
The ball stopped at the trunk and stopped boasting about itself. I said, “I can swim in water. You can not.” the ball went to the playfield. The trunk was sad. Yes, It can not swim like the ball. A tortoise saw this. He said to the trunk,” Dont worry ! I have a plan, tomorrow when the ball comes this way, You will be swimming. The trunk did not understand.
Next morning, the ball was going to playfield. The trunk was in the pond. It was floating in water. It said, “Look, brother ! I am swimming”. The ball was surprised. It did not understand how the trunk was able to keep himself a float.
Next day, the trunk wished the tortoise. The tortoise replied, “The ball did not know the you were sitting on my back as I kept myself underwater,” Thank you brother, I was able to teach the ball a lesson.”
